Carl Benz was born on November 24, 1844, and he built his first 3-wheel automobile in 1885, which was petrol based. Carl filed for patent application Number 37.435 on January 29, 1886 in Germany, which is considered to be the birth-certificate of the first automobile He passed away on April 4, 1929.
